The Serpone Company has made the white sash for the sutan/cassock of Holy Father Leo XIV, with the embroidered coat of arms of his pontificate, donated by the Augustinian fraternity Pia union Santa Rita "Lombardy" of Abbiategrasso (Milan).

I hope the pope wears it. He just doesn’t look “complete” without the coat of arms on the sash. Without it, it reminds me of a costume, like a ‘movie pope’.
Father, this strikes me as little more than a "fringe" opinion.

I'm sure he will wear it, at least for festive occasions. I prefer the plain / no sah option for lent!
