One of the things that I have loved promoting is Catholic Stewardship. Why, you ask? Because it is about Catholic spirituality and piety, faith and good works.
When the laity become more involved in their personal faith and devotion and strive to grow in their faith by attending Mass, regular confession and popular devotions, especially devotions that can be accomplished at home or anywhere, this is bound to have a good effect in the parish.
When the laity are concerned about their personal salvation, this too bear abundant fruit in this life too!
And when Catholics are involved the life and ministries of the parish, they are more likely to take an vested interest in supporting all the parish does with their time, talent and treasure.
