Cardinal Pell Returns to Rome, as Legal Proceedings Against Cardinal Becciu Are Being Organized
The Australian cardinal’s return is unrelated to the scandal enveloping the Italian cardinal, but previously they had opposing perspectives on how to oversee Vatican financial management.
1 comment:
Certain Pope Francis haters, who have never met, let alone spent one second in a room with Pope Francis, together with Cardinal Pell, have claimed:
-- Pope Francis despises Cardinal Pell.
-- Pope Francis turned his back upon Cardinal Pell during said Cardinal's trial and imprisonment.
But Edward Pentin noted:
"Pope Francis is known to respect the cardinal and values his frankness and honesty. After he was freed, the Pope made it clear that he did not want the cardinal to clear up his belongings in Rome, underscoring his wish that the cardinal might one day return to the Vatican.
In regard to Pope Francis' having turned his back upon Cardinal Pell supposedly:
Andrew Bolt, during an interview with Cardinal Pell, asked, in regard to the Cardinal's arrest, trial, and imprisonment:
Andrew Bolt: "In this matter, has the Pope supported you as you would have wished?"
Cardinal Pell: "Absolutely. He has been very supportive right through."
Peace and good health to Pope Francis and Cardinal Pell.
Pax.
