YOU'VE HEARD OF CHRISTMAS AND EASTER CATHOLICS? WELL THESE ARE CHRISTMAS AND EASTER ALTARS WITH PENTECOST THROWN IN FOR GOOD MEASURE

Our parish under the direction of Steve Gonzer and Elaine Schmitt began Macon's Old City Flower Festival about five years ago. It involved all the downtown churches and was the most sucessful ecumenical event I have ever been a part of.  We must of had several thousand visitors come through the Church. You can see their partially complete website HERE for this year as it returns to us for 2016 next week. It rotates the various downtown churches.

This was from January of 2012:

Who here considers him or her self an "evangelical"? There seem to be some pretty specific beliefs by which evangelicals define themselves. I am definitely not one.

GOB you can learn more about Evangelical Catholicism here:
http://www.firstthings.com/web-exclusives/2013/02/the-rise-of-evangelical-catholicism
and here:

And if you live in Augusta, you have the Alleluia Community who can teach you a thing or two about it.

I think we're on different pages here. I never said anything about finding someone to teach me about evangelicals. Not interested. I know all I need to or want to know about them. I also have definite opinions about the "movement" (if that's what they are) which are almost all very negative.

I just asked whether anybody here defined themselves as evangelical. It looks as if they may select the next Republican candidate for president...and that's really scary.

Hilary isn't that scary, just inept. I am surprised you disparage Christians in such an unecumencial way. You a really are pre-Vatican II!

Wow....There are NO evangelicals on Southern Orders....(I'm heaving a sigh of relief...)
