AS I HAVE WRITTEN BEFORE, THE SOLEMN HIGH FORM OF THE EF MASS IN PARTICULAR, BUT EVEN ITS LOWER FORMS IS LITURGICAL DANCE, MEANING THE MASS ITSELF IS THE DANCE. IT DOESN'T NEED THE FOLLOWING!
This priest's liturgical dance is in the right venue, a television studio and filmed for entertainment. That's the only place it belongs, certainly not during Mass!

I can't understand some priests these days the priesthood doesn't seem to be enough for them - the need to be entertainers too. I'm all for a bit of fun but I think this sort of thing should be saved for a private showing - if at all. To me it seems that some priests want to say, "Hey, look at me, I'm a regular guy" but it is dragging the priesthood down to the lowest common denominator. That said, I think the priest looked a nice guy and I'm sure he meant well ...

From what you post here, the world knows a lot about you. And for those who know Fr. Matt - and you do not - he's a better man, by far, than you.
Anonymous, Father Matt obviously lacks judgment and he himself admitted his puerile antics were a mistake.
Posts on a blog or forum reveal very little about a person's true self. It is just another faux community like Facebook, Twitter, and other contrived cyber societies. Fun in which to participate, at times informative but, ultimately, not of much interpersonal significance.
You can try all you like to distance yourself from your own words, but it doesn't work. Your words ARE a representation of yourself, and what you reveal is, at times, disturbing.
