When one doesn't ask for forgiveness, one is arrogant! --Jorge Cardinal Bergolio

Father McDonald, a friendly suggestion to consider? How about adding the opportunity for Confession at 7:30 on Saturday mornings for those who wish to obverse the First Saturday devotion, but have to work on Saturday afternoons and cannot attend 3 p.m. Confession and the 4:30 Vigil Mass? Also, I am respectfully curious why Confession is not offered before each Sunday Mass? I understand it would be tight before 9:30, but I am referring to the 7:45, 12:10 and 5:00 p.m. Masses. It's always a blessing to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation before Mass and the reception of the Holy Eucharist. Thank you, Father, for your consideration (I am being optimistic, just coming from 5:00 p.m. Mass :-)

Great post!
I am so sick of people dissing this pope.
Your blog is refreshing.
It looks like he's asking forgiveness directly from God. Must have been before priests and confessionals were invented.
