SPRINGTIME IN MACON IS FINALLY HERE AND ARE WE GLAD? OH, YAH!

After a long, brutal winter, spring has finally arrived in Macon. It was in the low 80's Monday and Tuesday! And two of our lovely trees are blooming away in brilliant pink flowers. These blooms will last about two weeks before these produce leaves. And the pollen is making its presence felt in many ways. How's spring in your neck of the woods, as lovely I hope!

Well, you may have jumped the gun, Fr. Warm weather this early makes me nervous!

On Monday we had a foot and an half of snow up here in Minnesota to add to the other 2 feet we had earlier. We can't see some of our trees because they are burried. Fortunately, I will be down there in Savannah in 3 weeks to visit my son and his wife so I hope your weather continues.

Savannah is 2 and half hours south of Macon and because of that and because it is on the coast, it will be even warmer there! Like summer!

I am happy for you, but we are looking at more accumulation tonight and tomorrow. All this Happy Spring Talk is not making me feel very charitable. ;-)

Ice and snow storm this morning. With lightening.

FYI: We are going to have to delay all your corn shipments this year.
