With regard to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X, we reiterate what has already been communicated. The episcopal ordinations announced by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X do not have the requisite papal mandate. This act will constitute “a schismatic act” (John Paul II, Ecclesia Dei, no. 3) and “formal adherence to the schism constitutes a grave offence against God and entails the excommunication established under Church law” (ibid., 5c; cf. Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts, Explanatory Note, 24 August 1996).
The Holy Father continues in his prayers to ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten those responsible for the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X so that they may reconsider the extremely grave decision they have taken.

Speaking of the SSPX...
The SSPX, as well as such supporters as Rorate Caeli, have portrayed Pope Leo XIV has having taken a hardline approach in regard to the Society.
Pope Leo XIV has cancelled (supposedly) Pope Francis' (requiscant in pace) tremendous, generous approach to the SSPX.
New Catholic (Rorate Caeli), despite his hatred of Pope Francis, declared today:
"Ironically, Francis...granted to the SSPX several concessions without asking for anything in return: including jurisdiction for confessions and marriages.
"His personal liking for the SSPX is among other things, what leads us to believe that, if the SSPX had decided for the consecrations in his pontificate, he would have found a way not to excommunicate those involved."
"As Rorate first announced, and confirmed today, on the day of Our Lady of Fatima, by Cardinal Fernandez, the Vatican fully intends to take the consecration without mandate to its fullest canonical consequences.

Pope Leo XIV has received his share of vile verbal assaults from various trads. Said folks have portrayed His Holiness as a deep state supporter of the homosexual mafia...
...a Pachamama worshiper, a pagan tree-hugging "ice cube" ceremony participant, ecumanic, as well as an appointer of horrific bishops.
Now, Pope Leo XIV has been portrayed as determined to hammer the SSPX.
Unless he bows to the SSPX, pending its "schismatic act" and "formal adherence to the schism...", additional vile verbal assaults await Pope Leo XIV...no matter the "crumbs" that he may "toss" to trads.

I am not certain as to why Pope Leo XIV has refused to grant an audience to SSPX Superior General Father Davide Pagliarani. Nevertheless, the SSPX must stand with and obey Pope Leo XIV.
That is the God-pleasing manner in which the SSPX must conduct itself.

Please do some google searches on what the Germans have said about Pope Francis and how they are saying the same about Pope Leo. Their schism will make the FSSPX and those who support them look like child's play--care to highlight what the Germans want that diverges not just from Vatican II but from the Deposit of Faith and Morals of the Church and compare that list in hierarchy of importance to what the SSPX object to in terms of Vatican II?

You know as well as I that MT will do no such thing;
That he prefers the easy route of copy-pasting and repetition of the same silly, defamatory insults and accusations about shadowy, usually-unnamed figures (he learned a lot from the Francis insult-machine, I suspect) to actually saying something of substance rather than mind-numbed, mind-numbing rhetoric;
That the only... only... only real danger to the Church is those horrible, vile, beating-beating-beating trads who don't take Chief Lay Bloviator Mark Thomas' untenable, un-Catholic positions on the papacy; and
That if he ever used greater specificity, he'd have to actually defend what he says, rather than slithering through the loopholes and gray areas he leaves to keep his yes from being yes and his no, no.
