WHEREIN I FULLY AGREE WITH BISHOP ELEGANTI! HE’S QUITE ELEGANT AND I HOPE POPE LEO XIV AGREES WITH HIM AND ME TOO!

BECAUSE OF THE DEFECTS OF SYNODALITY, IT NEEDS A RECALL BY POPE LEO TO BE FIXED!

PRESS TITLE FOR A COMPLETELY COMMON SENSE CATHOLIC PERSPECTIVE ON PREACHING THE GOSPEL, NOT SYNODALITY OR VATICAN II FOR THAT MATTER!!!!

Bishop Eleganti: The Church needs to preach the Gospel, not ‘synodality’

POWERFUL MONEY BYTE:

For the sake of Christ’s love, please stop the overkill of synodal documents, intermediate steps, guidelines for the onward process, announcements of results, final documents that are not final, extensions into further rounds, proliferation of commissions, and ultimately an assembly in canonical no man’s land.

The vast majority of the people of God ignore your documents. In my experience, hardly any believers know about them or read them. Stop spinning around in circles in a process that has not awakened love for Jesus Christ in a single soul, but has so far mainly occupied (German-speaking) “reform Catholics” (in full-time ministry). Stop multiplying and proliferating working groups and commissions! The people of God are not interested in this.

Pope Leo XIV has made it clear that it is full ahead in regard to Synodality as launched by Pope Francis (requiescat in pace).

On May 19, 2025 A.D., Pope Leo XIV declared to his audience that he "would like to assure you of my intention to continue Pope Francis’ commitment to promoting the synodal nature of the Catholic Church and developing new and concrete forms for an ever stronger synodality in ecumenical relations."

=======

Pope Leo XIV, June 26, 2025 A.D:

"I am pleased to welcome you to the meeting of the Ordinary Council of the General Secretariat of the Synod of Bishops.

"Pope Francis has given new impetus to the Synod of Bishops, drawing on Saint Paul VI, as he himself has said several times. And the legacy he left us seems to me to be, above all, this: that synodality is a style, an attitude that helps us to be Church by fostering authentic experiences of participation and communion.

"Throughout his pontificate, Pope Francis has developed this understanding in the various synodal assemblies, particularly the Synod on the Family, and then incorporated it into the process dedicated to synodality."

"The Synod of Bishops will, of course, retain its institutional physiognomy and, at the same time, be enriched by the fruits ripened during this time. And you are the body entrusted with the task of harvesting these fruits and developing a future-oriented reflection."

All the things Pope Leo has reversed of Pope Francis all the while praising him, must drive you bonkers! But Leo is in continuity with how Francis reversed Benedict all the while praising him as a father figure!

Drive me bonkers? Not remotely.

Church teaching has protected me from having embraced hatred to the point that I would "go bonkers" should a Pope have "canceled' his predecessor(s).

That is, I have not fallen into the "I belong to Paul...Apollos...Cephas" trap. I do not pit one Pope against another Pope.

Rather, I love, respect, as well as obey, Pope Leo XIV, for example, to the same unwavering degree as each Pope of my lifetime.

I am 100 percent on board with Pope Leo XIV. I am thankful that he has the God-given authority to teach, govern, and sanctify yours truly.

I will leave it to others to either "go bonkers," or, gloat, whenever a Pope has "canceled" supposedly his predecessor.
