I hope to avoid confirmation bias, but this is exactly what TC looked to be. The article confirms my perception that Pope Francis operated in a subjective reality supported by people with specific agendas.

I’ve already written this, but the horrific injustice done to Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI and to those to whom he gave permission to celebrate the TLM, to include laity, priests and bishops, is apocalyptic. I can’t imagine that Pope Leo XIV won’t do anything to rectify this horrific injustice and horrific it is!
The Anselmo already having made it clear that they do not stand by Grillo's private remarks, I wonder if Grillo is gunning for the self-martyrdom of making increasingly inflammatory private remarks such that his university removes him from its faculty. I can't imagine many other reasons for conducting himself accordingly from a supposed theologian and scholar.
