There is a fascinating article in Crux this morning. Crux is I think middle of the road with a very slight lean to the left but I think a good website to read. Perhaps Pope Francis is misunderstood or political interests manipulate his words to their interests.
But the head of the Jesuits in Argentina should also acknowledge that Pope Francis causes confusion, is disorganized in thought, inconsistent in listening, accompaniment and mercy.
I give the Holy Father the benefit of the doubt, but some of the blame game must be laid at his feet for mixed messages or messages not clear but muddled. That’s not only in the areas of politics or political positions, but doctrine and morality.
And when the Pope lends aid and comfort to those who enable sexual immorality under the guise of accompaniment and clamps down on those he considers rigid, the most heinous sin for His Holiness, one has to scratch their head and perhaps jump to conclusions that may be right or wrong. Read the article there because it is a head scratcher too:

LOL - coopted by the politics of hate? No projection there!
I read the article and the titles are slightly misleading depending on your starting perspective. It confirms for me that Pope Francis has carried his domestic war to the Vatican. I am still confused as to why he has remained away from his homeland rather than address the principles of that situation from the advantage of his position.
