Could you imagine the outcry if President Biden began to advocate for the choice to sexually abuse children and offer amnesty to those convicted of such crimes. In addition, if he stated sex abuse should be safe and health care, both physical and mental, must be available to abuser and abused in the freedom allowed in the choice to abuse?
Yet, that is precisely his political position as it concerns abortion, including the heinous partial birth procedure which is particularly horrifying.
Thus Cardinal Muller calls this kind of logic out as he should and does so within the context of the cancel culture toward Pope Benedict XVI and the German synodal way, a prelude to the international one now in progress throughout the world:
(Cardinal Mueller) further noted that these dissenters within the Church won’t criticize the decadence of the world, nor do they “dare” say “abortion is child-murder,” because then “they will be brutally attacked.”
Instead, they focus on sexual abuse of children, but exploit it to advance their own agenda, without examining the causes or insisting on ordaining priests who can live in abstinence. “They say they’re ashamed of sexual abuse, but they don’t say what damage has been inflicted on the souls of those abused and the abuser, and the damage caused to the Body of Christ,” he said. “They’re instrumentalizing human beings; they have no respect for people. They manipulate young people, shed tears for abuse victims; but for others, they have no interest.”

Instead of Vatican II influencing the world, the world has influenced the Church to her detriment. Fyi, there are public schools that bring in drag queens to instruct children and Biden’s latest nominee to oversee nuclear plants is a “gender fluid” drag queen
I recommend that the Church emphasize how abortion is an extension of the exploitation of women. This would follow the logic of your opening thesis: that abortion is coequal with child sexual abuse, not by the specific act, but by the nature of the act as it springs from dehumanizing a person. The child of an exploited woman is considered inconvenient until it becomes a useful instrument for sexual gratification, as was the woman who bore the child. Your speculation concerning the use of children as sexually liberated objects is not far fetched; it has already been put in place for women through the normalization of pornography and expression of female sexual appetites similar to those of maladjusted adolescent males.
Maybe Catholic Charities could consider not being part of the drug and sex trade across our southern borders for starters. Catholic Charities is the main reason I won’t give to the Bishops Appeal AKA Annual Appeal. Catholic Church is to busy making their money from US government through funneling illegals around the once Great USA.
