Yesterday, we had a staff retreat at our retreat center on the Isle of Hope which is next to Skidaway Island (both cool names, no?) in Savannah. It is quite a beautiful spot. In the photo below, from left to right are our youth director, office manager/bookkeeper and our coordinator of religious education. Not pictured is our female director of music and female receptionist/assistant bookkeeper. And our female pastoral council president was not there.
The only two full time men on our staff, not in the photo, are the two priests assigned to Saint Anne. Oh, our cleaning service is a woman owned and staffed service, parishioner-owned that is.
And yes, on Friday, it was 87 degrees in these parts.

I hope I am wrong and Biden does help the Ukraine in a meaningful way but with loons like John Kerry still wanting Russia to focus on “climate change” I do not have much hope. It does look like some European nations are pushing back on the Russians
