This was and is a powerful symbol of the state of the post Vatican II Church in France, Europe and all first world countries. Was/is this an omen of what the Church is experiencing today worldwide? Was it a warning from Our Lady?
In the midst of destruction, the Pieta and glorified empty Cross unscathed as well as pre-Vatican II high altar, another sign from Our Lady?

The photo of Notre Dame's destroyed interior is an allegory for the post Vatican Disaster II church
Not only did those things survive but look at what was crushed, the Cramner table, I believe she is trying to tell us something, but to some it just means more Vat2, bring on the cowbell, we need more cowbell!!! just ask the Bishop of Boise
So true TJM about the interior of Notre Dame,a perfect allegory. Our cathedral in Boise St. John's was once traditional inside at one time but a total mish mosh now! The high altar was taken down in the 1970's I believe, yet it could very well be restored to it's original design with the restoration of the TLM as well!!
TJM, you are on spot with your allegory of Notre Dame, our cathedral in Boise St. John's was once traditional inside but the high altar was ripped out in the 1970's yet it could be restored with the Traditional Latin Mass as well.
TJM -
100%!
That Cranmer table being destroyed was almost a public service! No glory / church triumphant in something that was so unpleasant to look at.
