This is a fascinating interview and the questions and answers are astonishing in honesty:

Father Allan--

Thank you for posting this video of Cardinal Pell. The cardinal should be a role-model for us all, and I hope that we all can benefit from observing his handling of the unjust charges against him.

I also thank you for the legacy that you left our parish in Augusta.

Very interesting interview and I am impressed by the Cardinal’s composure. It seems that he is the surrogate for attacks on the Church for the sex abuse history. Or perhaps the officials in Victoria believe he is responsible in some way for it. In any case, it does not seem much like justice to create lies about someone even if he is guilty of other crimes.

PF wears the Shoes of the Fisherman.

CP does not.

It is CP who should be tying the shoes of PF.

I appreciated greatly Cardinal Pell's holy response to the negativity that Andrew Bolt (the interviewer) directed at His Holiness Pope Francis.

Bolt has a history of having attacked Pope Francis and/or Churchmen around Pope Francis.

Cardinal Pell responded to Bolt: "He's the Successor of Peter. He's owed respect."

===========================================================================================

Among Bolt's questions during the interview: Bolt said of the (supposed) Vatican financial corruption:

Bolt: "I have described it as running right to the very feet of the Pope. Would I be wrong?"

Cardinal Pell: "Yes."

===================================================================================

In regard to the arrest, imprisonment, and persecution of Cardinal Pell, Andrew Bolt asked:

Bolt: "In this matter, has the Pope supported you as you would have wished?"

Cardinal Pell: "Absolutely. He has been very supportive right through."

Andrew Bolt, during his interview with Cardinal Pell, said to Cardinal Pell:

"You and the Pope are not close. He's very much on the left. He is a global-warming preacher. You are a climate skeptic."

I guess that Pope Saint John Paul II, who insisted that global warming is real, was a left-wing, "global-warming preacher," who was not close to Cardinal Pell.

I guess that applied also to Pope Benedict XVI, who insisted that global warming is real.

Pope Benedict XVI on global warming:

-- January 1, 2010 A.D. "“Can we remain indifferent before the problems associated with such realities as climate change..."

TO THE UN 2009 SUMMIT ON CLIMATE CHANGE

-- December 6, 2009 A.D.

https://w2.vatican.va/content/benedict-xvi/en/angelus/2009/documents/hf_ben-xvi_ang_20091206.html

"Tomorrow the UN Conference on Climate Change will be opening in Copenhagen.

"With it the international community intends to curb the phenomenon of global warming.

"I hope that its work will contribute to identifying procedures that respect creation and encourage development and solidarity, founded on the dignity of the human person and oriented to the common good."

During his interview with Andrew Bolt, Cardinal Pell declared in regard to the non-existent priest sexual abuse "crisis":

“I don’t think the Church has ever got enough credit for the fact that we broke the back of this problem."

“The offending stopped, not completely but almost completely, from the middle 90s.”

=====================================================================================

When the garbage Pennsylvania Report was released to the public, Rome noted that few alleged cases of sexual assaults by priests had occurred following the early 2000s.

Even at the peak of the clergy sexual abuse "crisis," only a microscopic amount of priests had abused minors sexually.

But as the statistics cited by Rome, as well as Cardinal Pell, have indicated, from at least the early 2000s, if not from the middle 1990s, few are the priests who have assault miors sexually.

The so-called clergy sexual abuse "crisis" does not exist...it's nonsense.

Therefore, why do certain Catholics claim that a massive amount of priests continue to abuse minors sexually?

It is bad enough that the world repeats the above lie.

Pax.
