I KNOW NOBLE SIMPLICITY WHEN I EXPERIENCE IT AND THE POST VATICAN II CHURCH AIN'T IT!

This is noble simplicity pure and simple and the Church of the 1950's was very similar:

And then Vatican II, which called for noble simplicity, betrayed itself and gave us something else!
In the 1950's any Catholic priest in any part of the world could celebrate Mass for any language group of Catholics.  All he had to know was Latin. Today? Some parishes try to cater to each language group in the parish, each style of music that is desired, to each age group that would like its own Mass and well, you see where this is going. Complexity is thy name.

If Latin were still the language of the Mass, I could celebrate Mass tonight for a church full of Chinese Catholics who only know Chinese. I would not have to import a Chinese speaking priest or try to muddle my way through a Chinese Mass like so many priests do today with Spanish Masses.
