THIS PHOTO OF BISHOP MORLINO AT AN EF MASS FOR THE ASSUMPTION STRIKES ME AS A SPIRITUAL WAY FOR A BISHOP TO KEEP HIS CLOSEST COLLABORATORS ON BOARD IN A SACRIFICIAL WAY! I DON'T THINK YOU COULD SEE THIS IN AN OF MASS!

Father Z has some quite interesting photos from the Diocese of Madison, WI and you can see all of them at his blog post there by pressing HERE. But what are you observations on this photo?

A Catholic Bishop at work, evangelizing by being an example for his priests and seminarians, while letting the faithful see unity, community and piety of all in the diocese.

An example worthy of imitation by all!

In an OF Mass they would usually be concelebrating with the bishop rather than assuming the roles of deacon, subdeacon and assistant priest. Whatever you think of concelebration, it surely symbolizes collaboration.
