This is our 2013 Catholic Stewardship Renewal video. It was produced and edited by Mr. Stacy Lumely and uses footage from previous videos we have done over the last four years, some of these by Mr. Lovel Miguel who now lives in Houston, Texas. We are showing this video in place of the homily at all of our Masses today. Since we have older videos included in this one, there are a few parishioners depicted who have "gone home to the Lord." I think this shows the reality of the Mass where the Communion of Saints as well as the angels joins the Church on earth in the Great Eternal Banquet. Robert Vaughn (The Man from Uncle) plays the part of Fr. Allan McDonald.
We are blessed in Macon and our parish to have the Daughters of Charity. Sister Elizabeth runs a relatively new ministry for the homeless called Daybreak, which is a day shelter that offers triage and a place to stay during the day, get a shower, wash clothes and other things. Sister Roberta runs Family Advancement Ministries for young families and is not just a band aide in need, but offers counseling and education. The following video tells the vocation story of one of the Daughters of Charity and highlights the thrust of their ministry with is to the periphery, the sick and the poor, but they also are educators.

I didn't know you have sisters...
a moving video by Sr. Liz.
Guess it ALL boils down to the individual's response to the interior movements of the Lord.

It was a good video, Mass was full, and the stewardship fair was packed. We had a crowd at Inquiry, too. Things are looking good.
