What's old is new again. We wont rid ourselves of this garbage until we are rid of the generation that brought it on. Play the long game....these clowns won't last forever

It sits there as a warning: You, too, could like this if you don't eat your cabbage.

Fortunately, it can yet again be easily removed. Appears to just be set down as opposed to fixed.

Would be wonderful for the altar of the chair to again reclaim its originally intended purpose and function. Destruction that was, and remains, wholly unnecessary.

Tradition should be timeless, not beholden to a point in time.

ByzRus, you are fortunate that the Eastern Rites do not seem to have a bunch of spiteful, old losers running things. The old losers in Rome are angry we do not like their product which underscores that synodality is a cruel hoax

Without question. Spoiled, in fact.

Not that we're any better than our RC brethren, it's just sad that we've been empowered to do that which has been taken away from you!

Now, another commenter here might will provide a mile of quotations about who said what and when. First, no one will fight through all that and second, it doesn't matter what someone says about divine worship, it only matters how they effect the same.

Still another will maintain that nothing's changed, or styles change. While clearly the case in secular society, I find such notions to be nonsense from the perspective of that which should be countercultural, immortal, ethereal - that being divine worship.
