As deal to end Syro-Malabar row unravels, priests vow global push to oust leadership
Is it intentional on the part of the pope or just bungling?
We have the pope intentionally removing bishop in Texas without clearly delineating why he did so without a canonical process and due process. This may well cause Catholics in Tyler, Texas to fall into schism or worse, stop practicing their faith through the loss of it.
Then we have the Syro-Malabar Eastern Church that continues to spiral out of control. The threat there is not traditionalism but the exact opposite, the progressivism of Vatican II’s document on the liturgy which pertained only to the Latin Rite being imposed on the Eastern Rite there.
Now, these liberal, progressive, disobedient priests there are using Pope Francis and his synodality to go after the Administrator Pope Francis, himself, appointed and supports. You can’t make this stuff up!

(200 priests say)“We will inform the Catholic bishops across the globe with documents about the decisions of the apostolic administrator to destroy the future of the archdiocese,” the priests said in a statement issued after their session.
“Archbishop Thazhath’s way of functioning damages the very image of the Pope, who insists that the church is not only the Pope and bishops but also the people of God,” the priests’ statement asserted. “Synodality as advocated by the Church means that everyone, including the last one, must be heard.”
Repeated requests from Crux for comment from a spokesman for the Syro-Malabar Church went unanswered.
There seems to be a lot of contempt and disrespect for this pope from the left and the right and both are being radicalized by the one they have contempt and disrespect. Only divine intervention can assist us now and we must trust that there will be divine intervention. It takes time, though, as we see through the long sweep of Church history.

It is unthinkable that a Catholic who loves God and His True Church would embrace schism.
As Pope Pius XI declared in his 1930 A.D. Encyclical Casti Connubii, "a characteristic of all true followers of Christ, lettered or unlettered, is to suffer themselves to be guided and led in all things that touch upon faith or morals by the Holy Church of God through its Supreme Pastor the Roman Pontiff, who is himself guided by Jesus Christ Our Lord."
The overwhelming amount of God's Holy People love and respect Pope Francis. The overwhelming amount of God's Holy People stand with His Holiness.
Therefore, in regard to their relationship with Pope Francis: I am confident that the overwhelming amount of God's Holy People embrace the Catholic Way as demonstrated by Pope Benedict XVI.
That is, in line with Pope Benedict XVI's holy example, the Catholic Way is to embrace Pope Francis with "unconditional reverence and obedience."
