The article is pablum - elevating the laity? The average Catholic who still bothers to go to Mass knows far less than the laity did in 1962 - a second grader then knows more then the typical adult Catholic now. V II was an utter flop - although one could argue that it was a clergy liberation movement - no more Latin, no more cassocks or habits, apartments rather than rectories or convents. These people who write this stuff are delusional
