THE LEFT WHIPS UP HATE TOWARDS CHILDREN

A message from the new campaign to tackle hate crime in Scotland (handout/PA)11

Covington Catholic High School notified parents as I write this, that the school is closed today to protect the safety of students and faculty.  One threat against the children was that they should be locked in the school and the school burned down.

The left to include its fake news media sycophants like CNN has whipped up hate towards children so much so that on the various social media these young children and their families have received death threats.

One celebrity printed a graphic cartoon depicting a child wearing a MAGA hat 🎩 being thrown through a wood chipper hat first!

I have not posted some comments by some democratic operatives commenting on my previous post on this because the comments constitute child abuse.

Fortunately CNN has offered authentic news concerning their original fake news reports.

Everyone, though, to include CNN, must offer unequivocal apologies and retractions for the threats of child abuse, violence and death towards these children at Covington Catholic that their fake news and incendiary comments have provoked.

The Left only attracts angry, hateful, mentally unstable people. Most of them are also hysterical.

Apologize??? But, but, but the kids are "haters!"

Dan said...

You see these kids were wearing a hat that reflected a certain belief that absolutely MUST be removed from the culture. It's absolutely NOT the same as persecuting someone for flying a rainbow flag, or wearing a crucifix, or star of David, or a peace sign.

Yikes! My immortal soul just got a threat of abuse. Can't print the comment but you get the drift.

qwikness said...

The Diocese and School was quick to throw them under the bus. It must be devastating to not have the support from them. It's shameful. They owe them a very sincere apology. I would be highly peeved. Have they issued any sort of mea culpa?

Anonymous said...

You are very, very selective in choosing which "abusive" comments you post here. When you approve of the "abuse," you trumpet it. When you disapprove of the abuse, you cry alligator tears.

You cry for apology is hollow.

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

To be fair, most people including I, were misled by CNN's repot and others like it. I thought the kids were unchaperoned and were creating havoc. The dioceses Original statements relied on the original reports , but correctly stated further punitive actions would take place after further investigation.

I hope the bishop meets with these children and turns his lemons into lemonade.

Fr. Allan J. McDonald said...

My detractor did not threaten my immortal soul but used God's judgement on my soul for supporting the children against verbal and violent abuse and hate language inspired by political radicals on the left. So God will get me for my posts and eternally abuse my soul. Thank you Maude. But Maude is praying for me to repent.

If you’d kill a child in the womb killing them for being immature is no great leap.

This really just illustrates life in America today. Guilty until proven innocent, Freedom of Speech is dead, and you can't trust your Bishop or principal because they'll leave you twisting in the wind so they can protect themselves. The lesson: Look out for #1.

Why would the Diocese believe the Abortion Drooling, Gay Loving Media? Sounds like the folks running the Diocese are not very bright.

John Nolan said...

The sad thing about this is that there is no 'native American' culture. It was wiped out in the 19th century and attempts to resurrect it are on a par with morris dancing - picturesque but not historical.

During the War Churchill was faced with an aggressive female American reporter who asked 'What are you going to do about the Indians?' His reply was 'To which Indians, Madam, do you refer? Do you refer to the Indians of that great Asian subcontinent who, under benign and munificent British rule, are prospering? Or do you refer to the North American Indians, who, under successive United States administrations, are virtually extinct?'

According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, whoever “even tacitly, assumes as true, without sufficient foundation, the moral fault of a neighbor” is guilty of rash judgment, and whoever, “by remarks contrary to the truth, harms the reputation of others and gives occasion for false judgments concerning them” is guilty of calumny.
In other words, slander

Sadly this is from Breitbart news, have not seen it on any catholic site

John Nolan,

Ah old Winston, was fast on his feet. Today's politically correct "reporters" heads would explode if they had to deal with the likes of Winston Churchill. I like to claim him as one of our own via his mother, Jennie.

That the reaction was so swift to condemn shows the power the media has and has had. By "has had" I mean they have made certain topics sensitive so that many upright are constantly on the defensive and eager to condemn because they believe the attacker media rather than the individuals involved. George Orwell should be mandatory reading in Catholic schools at least for the administration. There is no such thing as an ideal "free press," never has been.
And as for the Sisters of Mercy, I think their idea of mercy resembles that of pope Francis, at least in the connection with the Chile abuse victims and the abuse victims of this school.

Here is just another "reasonable" liberal weighing in:

Anonymous Kavanaugh and Anonymous 2 should be very proud of their support for the Abortion Party and its creatures.

"Freedom of Speech is dead,..."

Freedom of speech is not dead, but many have laid to rest the idea that people may well be held accountable for what we say, or that people may disagree with us strenuously.

If you chant "Jews will not replace us!" at a rally in Charlottesville, VA., you will very likely lose your job. Four of the white supremacists did.

If you post "jokes" about bringing a gun to a public high school, you will be identified, arrested, and punished by law. Two students in a neighboring county found this out last week.

No, freedom of speech is far from dead. It is when people want to be free from the consequences of their speech that problems arise.

Churchill was on the lavatory when he was told that the Lord Privy Seal (a government minister) wanted to see him. He called out 'Tell him that I am sealed in the privy and can only deal with one shit at a time!'

He regarded himself as half American, and was chagrined when FDR trusted Stalin more than him.
It seems hard to credit now, but Roosevelt believed that the British Empire was a greater threat to world peace than was the Soviet Union. With friends like these ...

Wake me up when Obama, Hillary, Pelosi, Waters, or any Democrat condemns this behaviour and says maybe it's time to act with civility even if "offended."

"President Obama is pushing for greater civility in politics while acknowledging the harsh rhetoric that has so far dominated political discourse in the final year of his presidency." The Hill, 13 February 2016

"House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Monday called for civility after fellow Democratic House member Maxine Waters encouraged supporters to keep harassing members of the Trump administration." Washington Times, 25 June 2018

Or any Democrat...

"Responding to inflammatory remarks by Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., other African-American leaders gathered Thursday morning on Capitol Hill to appeal for civility and for Congress to censure Waters." Daily Signal, 12 July 2018

"Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's incendiary suggestion this week that liberals "cannot be civil" with Republicans any longer is unproductive and simply "ridiculous," a top Democratic senator said Wednesday. The stark repudiation of Clinton's comments by Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., a vulnerable red-state Democrat seeking re-election this year, comes as Republicans have lined up in recent days to criticize Democrats' fiery rhetoric amid the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court." 11 October 2018

Anonymous Kavanaugh,

Wake we up when some lefty journalist, professor, comic or politician loses THEIR job when they engage in horrendous speech like the one I just posted above from the loon from Saturday Night Live. It's a one way street in the US, lefties get a pass because they LOVE abortion and gay marriage, two intrinsic evils

TJM said...

John Nolan,

Thanks for that great Churchill story.

Yes, Franklin Roosevelt had a blindspot when it came to the Communists, very odd, considering he was raised in the lap of luxury and was fairly well traveled.

Anonymous Kavanaugh,

You are a real quisling. Obama routinely said things like, "if they bring a knife to a fight, we bring a gun, "we must crush our enemies (the Republicans, not Muslim terrorists.) You are beyond boring at this point.

Thanks for the historical quotes... I'll go back to sleep awaiting condemnation of THIS episode. You see, they don't like Trump and so might hold their tongues in spite of a condemnation being reasonable.

The Wall Street Journal provided a sliver of additional context to the statement:

Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight. But what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight?

That’s exactly what Barack Obama said he would do to counter Republican attacks “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun,” Obama said at a Philadelphia fundraise. “Because from what I understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I’ve seen Eagles fans.”

Obama made the comment in the context of warning donors that the general election campaign against McCain could get ugly. “They’re going to try to scare people. They’re going to try to say that ‘that Obama is a scary guy,’” he said. A supporter yelled out a deep accented “Don’t give in!”

“I won’t, but that sounded pretty scary. You’re a tough guy,” Obama said.

Bee here:

So let me see...if the video clip everyone saw was the same scenario, except the man beating the drum was a middle aged white trucker wearing jeans and a jean jacket and MAGA hat, and the kid staring him down was an African American kid surrounded by a group of his African American classmates, what do you think the media would have said was going on in that picture?

Let me venture a guess: "Teens visiting the Lincoln Memorial this afternoon were harassed by a racist in a MAGA hat, who stood pounding the drum in the face of one of the teens, daring him to react. One brave teen refused to be intimidated...."

And just whose video was it that was shown across the nation, even internationally? Wanna bet it was Chief Fullof Bull's?

Now we know even pictures and videos are often edited or staged in such a way to propagandize. That in itself should make us leery when we are shown and see something with our own eyes.

Mr. Phillips inserted himself into the drama to trap the kids. He is the bully here. In light of the further reports, when I see the video again, I see the bullying and angry look on Mr. Phillips face, and the kid smiling as if to say, "You don't intimidate me."

As someone else said on another blog: "Now we can't even "look" a certain way at someone!"

God bless.

It is hard to understand these days, but there was a time when the Soviet Union was considered a positive force in the USA and many social jusgice causes were trained in those schools of thought. Labor Unions and covil rights activits are two examples.

I disagree with Mr Nolan that aboriginal cultures all died out. They suffered greatly but some survived by adapting as cultures ever have when encountering each other. Some were more fortunate and successful than others. They didn’t survive in the initial technological state but found ways to merge while maintaining an identity. I do agree that some of the cultural reenactments are wishful but are useful as a sign of respect. In the case of the person at the rally I think he was simply being passive aggressive and, perhaps schooled by the descendants of Bolsheviks (see above) he was provoking a conflict under the cover of a sympathetic stereotype.

I don't think that's the case at all.

"For the sake of your mental health shouldn't you consider retreating to your safe space and stopping reading this "bizarro blog?"

Should I? No. First, the entire world is my safe space. Second, racist remarks such as referring to a Native American as "Chief full of Bull's" need to be called out. I think of my visits here as a service to humanity.

Cheers!

Bee here:

If you have a problem with me labeling Mr. Phillips, the liar who has now changed his story twice about what happened, and who, as it turns out, along with about 20 or 30 others, attempted to disrupt the evening Mass at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on the same evening (Jan 19) that he baited the teen into a stand-off, please start by calling out the gentlemen (uhumm) of the Black Hebrew Israelites who were also nearby on that day and used words such as "crackers," "faggots," "niggers" "children of incest" "future school shooters" among other dainties to label the kids who were assembled on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial waiting for their bus.

If you are offended by the label I gave to Mr. Phillips, I think you need to show more outrage at the Leftists who use words like "haters" to disrespectfully and unfairly label others with impunity.

The First Amendment permits me to use speech even if it is offensive to others. Look it up.

Whether I should use it or not is another matter. Jesus called Herod a fox. He called the Pharisees "whitened sepulchers." Maybe he labeled others that never made it into the Gospels. Stop the pearl clutching and get real, pal.

In my book, Mr. Phillips is a real scumbucket. There. I did it again.

God bless.

Your argument seems to be either, "Their bad behavior justifies my bad behavior," or "They started it!"

That's what a third grader says, but along the way we help the child to learn that the behavior of others does not determine how one acts, nor does it justify how one responds.

We base that one, "Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing."

You are entirely free to express yourself. But you are mistaken when you think that you should be free from criticism, or praise if it is warranted, for what you say.
