STARTLING STATISTICS THAT REALLY FREAK ME OUT! DO I CONTINUE THIS BLOG THAT I REALLY THOUGHT ONLY EXISTED IN VIRTUAL REALITY WITH COMPUTER GENERATED COMMENTS OR DO I DISCONTINUE TO BLOG?THAT IS THE QUESTION!

Blogspot has a tool where I can see how many page views I've had and in what countries. I haven't check in months. But for reason I checked today and the statistics are, well, startling and eye opening:

United States 7,268

United Kingdom 502

Indonesia 390

Canada 336

Philippines 261

Australia 202

India 112

Russia 92

Italy 78

Hong Kong 77

Just who is reading this blog in Italy?????? I have relatives there, but they don't speak English. This is very concerning!

You could end up assigned to a Parish in Iran.

Maybe the Pope is using the video on this blog to show the Cardinals and Bishops what the OF Mass is supposed to look like!

A parish assignment in Iran? Sorta like Abp. Bugnini?

Father, PLEASE DO NOT shut down this blog. It is fantastic, wonderful, amazing. Who cares who's looking at it in Italy? Italy isn't exactly some little nondescript country like Khazakstan; it's bound to have some views.

You must know that there are many, many, MANY Italian liturgical blogs and forums. I occasionally view them even thought I don't speak Italian. It's probably the same, them viewing your blog occasionally. Besides, it's like 70 views! There are 100 times more US views. That is barely a dent in the total views. Don't freak out, and don't shut the blog down!

Actually when you stop and think about it, this should come as no surprise. Catholic's of Traditionalist leanings have been reviled, and marginalized in Diocese and Parish uncounted for the past 60 years. We have gone to the internet to organize and wage our counter-reformation becasue we have no voice at the Parish levels. When a Priest creates a Blog and has something sensible to say, he is doubtless going to attract a global audience.
