POPE WEATHERS PROTESTS AND BOYCOTTS IN FIRST OFFICIAL VISIT TO GERMANY AND OTHER OPINIONS

The New York Times reports: Pope Weathers Protests and Boycotts in First Official Visit to Germany. PRESS HERE and read all about the New York Times take on things papal.

My comment: Have you noticed how the main line media (or drive by media) have marginalized their reporting on this significant trip? Do you wonder why?

Although the old Hitler Youth canard was used, I think for the first time I've actually seen it ackowledged that he was involuntarily entered into it. Guess that's something.

I do love the way the closing sentiments were portrayed: It's better to be critical of the Church from the inside than the outside, LOL. Left unsaid is that the important thing is to be critical.

Warn your children that one of the quickest ways to Hell is to become a journalist. You know that sign that used to say,"Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here?" Well, now it says, "Office of the New York Times."
