THIS IS HILARIOUS AND THE ACTORS LOOK LIKE THE REAL PEOPLE!

Unfortunately, though, there would be some post Vatican II, spirit of Vatican II liturgists who would think this sort of thing at a liturgy would be cool. I don't but I do think this is funny in a sacrilegious way which indicates that even the sacred is not immune from denigration which in some circles would be considered a very serious mortal sin. And maybe it is? But our conscience about such things, and our need to mock and make fun of the sacred indicates how far we have fallen from the "sense of the sacred." Oh well! I report you decide and tell me if you laughed. I did and I'll go to confession later!

I am not sure it is worse than the real thing will be, which will take itself completely seriously.

They're using a religious scene to spoof the british royal family. I didn't laugh. It was stupid.

How did you get a video of Pinanv525's wedding? Amazing!

This is a spoof on "The Wedding Dance Down the Aisle" craze that is sweeping the nation - St. Joseph, Macon, of course, excepted.

The altar set-up looks Anglican--no tabernacle, for instance--but the behavior of the people may look more Catholic (well, Novus Ordo, of course) to some.

Rather ridiculous. I did not laught. Perhaps Harry should have worn his swastika armband since Mel Brooks has said that symbol always makes him laugh.

Lighten up, folks. A sense of humor (like Father McDonald's) never hurt anyone. I liked the feeling of joy that was conveyed by the wedding party, even if the dancing in the church was sacrilegious. That probably would be best reserved for the reception--or whatever the royals will have after the wedding. I don't think this was disrespectful. It's just an ad after all. The resemblances were amazing and fun.

The resemblances were amazing, the hard work to put this together and the good quality acting and dancing. From that perspective and as satire, it was funny and enjoyable.

Why do these things even as a spoof which gives people ideas? There is something going on about dancing down the aisles in Church with sunglasses I have seen. Isn't the reception or place where the celebration is held afterward enough? Why does every moment and every square inch have to become profaned?

I agree, a bit of humor here. They got the "white boy's can't dance" idea down too! :0)

This happens in the North of France all the time. Just look it up in YouTube.

Tell me no! At real Catholic weddings in France?

I didn't want to find it funny, mostly because I just went to confession and don't want to fall out of a state of grace for Mass tomorrow! Actually, it wasn't hard to separate the humor from the poor taste, both of which are abundantly in evidence. If it had been purely a spoof of the royal family, I probably would have laughed (even though it would have been unkind) but I was offended by the dancing/prancing bishop.

Not funny, didn't laugh. Now if a Catholic Taliban ran down the aisle at the end and blew them all up with a suicide Alb loaded with C4....THAT would have been funny.

Looks like a fairly typical Anglican service to me...*yawn*

Hysterical! Just loved it! For a split second, I did indeed think that it WAS Archbishop Rowan William. And whoever she is, she's a dead ringer for Camilla.

Don't be so judgmental folks. Maybe one of our commenters might consider it "the middle way."

What a cleansing experience. It purged my system, but what a mess. Ever try to clean vomit from a keyboard?
