KUDOS TO FOX NEWS (FOX AND FRIENDS) FOR A GREAT PRO-LIFE SEGMENT ON FRIDAY MORNING’S SHOW!
This was an absolutely great pro-life segment on Fox and Friends this morning. Karley Shimkus, who reads the news and anchors the early Fox and Friends, is quite impressive! You don’t hear this kind of thing on any major network. Kudos to Fox News!
Holy Mother Church is the world's greatest, most unrelenting promoter of the Culture of Life. There is not another entity on earth who, in that regard, is able to match Her.
Our recent holy Popes have, for example, via teachings related to the death penalty, developed and deepened our understanding of the pro-life cause.
Said Popes have also deepened our understanding of the right to life's relation to environmental (i.e., climate change), as well as migration, issues.
Example: Pope Benedict XVI, January, 1, 2010 A.D:
"Can we remain indifferent before the problems associated with such realities as climate change, desertification, the deterioration and loss of productivity in vast agricultural areas, the pollution of rivers and aquifers, the loss of biodiversity, the increase of natural catastrophes and the deforestation of equatorial and tropical regions?"
"Can we disregard the growing phenomenon of “environmental refugees”, people who are forced by the degradation of their natural habitat to forsake it – and often their possessions as well – in order to face the dangers and uncertainties of forced displacement?"
"Can we remain impassive in the face of actual and potential conflicts involving access to natural resources?"
"All these are issues with a profound impact on the exercise of human rights, such as the right to life, food, health and development."
Again, deo gratias for the True Church, holy, powerful, and unrelenting promotion of the Culture of Life.
Pax.
Mark Thomas
— Pope Francis, January 8, 2024 A.D:
"The path to peace calls for respect for life, for every human life, starting with the life of the unborn child in the mother’s womb...At every moment of its existence, human life must be preserved and defended; yet I note with regret, especially in the West, the continued spread of a culture of death, which in the name of a false compassion discards children, the elderly and the sick."
