HOME SCHOOLING FAMILIES AT SAINT ANNE'S FROM THE SAVANNAH DEANERY AND BROADER DIOCESE

Bishop Stephen Parkes visited Saint Anne on Tuesday morning to celebrate Mass with home schooling families and their kids and kids galore have they!

Afterward there was a luncheon in our "Holy Family Social Hall."

These intentional communities, be they Home schooling, EF, charismatic or the myriad of other old and new movements are the ones with kids galore, a deep commitment to a personal Catholic faith and willingness to encourage vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Amen to that. Now if diocese and parish would do more to support intentional communities in actual communities where they can LIVE the Faith.

I like the bishop photo on your masthead. He appears to be speaking at a typical up-to-date Novus Ordo parish, which is, of course, half empty.

No wonder he is encouraging priests to offer the TLM and doing it himself!

I think he's going to be O.K. if higher forces don't derail him.

Tom, he is speaking to the spread out homeschoolers at a special Mass for them. As it says in the post to which you are commenting.

Is the Pope photo bombing in the right, rear corner?
