Following mass the Epiphany water will be blessed. Bring a container of water and make sure your name is on it. Spread the word and bring a friend. See the post below about the Blessing of Epiphany water and the Epiphany blessing of homes during the octave of the Epiphany: High Mass and Epiphany Water Blessing

Tuesday January 5, After the 6pm High Mass for the Feria After Circumcision, Father John Paul Heiser from Benedictine will bless Epiphany Water. Bring water to be blessed. Water, chalk, and instructions for the Home Blessing will be available after.

What is the best way to make holy water?

Boil the hell out of it.

A young Catholic priest once clearly told his former girlfriend she was not to come to any parish church where he was saying Mass.....It was EXcommunication.

Bee here:

St. John Cantius has been blessing Epiphany water for many years. They bless a huge caldron (I would guess 100 gallons), but it is never enough. I do my best to make sure I get some every year, but it is usually gone by the end of Masses on the Sunday after Epiphany. I am planning on getting over to church either for the Epiphany Mass or the next day to make sure I can get some.

I use it to do the Epiphany blessing of my house, each room and outside too, and keep some in the car for blessing the graves when I visit the cemetery.

So cool people will be able to see the ritual and get some. Maybe they can use it to bless some of those politicians who have moved into Georgia. ;-)

God bless.
