NAIL BITER IMBERGOGLIO

Civil-Unions ‘Imbergoglio’ Stains the Competency of the Holy See Press Office

COMMENTARY: The Vatican’s communications apparatus does grave disservice to Pope Francis and the Catholic faithful for not clarifying his comments.

Excerpt:

A constitutive part of an imbergogliois the element of farce. That was partly achieved by the Vatican responding — to a global news story of the utmost prominence — on the Facebook page of a diplomat across the ocean from Rome.

An imbergoglio of this size required a bigger farce than that. So it was that on the day after Francesco was released, Afineevsky was given the “Kinéo Movie for Humanity” award in the Vatican Gardens. Usually the film award is presented in Venice, but given the release of Francesco, it was thought that a Vatican setting would be more fitting.
Thus Paolo Ruffini, Vatican prefect of communications, was on hand to honor a filmmaker who manipulated the image and words of the Holy Father and then lied about it.

It would be impossible to make that up — even for Afineevsky. It was farcical, to be sure, but not at all funny. Not only the Holy Father, but Catholics all over the world, had been badly let down.

Bee here:

The damage is already done. I have a neighbor who is a very Leftist socialist, who was overheard talking very loudly in his back yard yesterday to a contractor doing some work for him (too loudly it seems...so I could hear?), that he's not against Catholics per se (even though in the past he has attacked me verbally numerous times over being Catholic, over Our Lady and saying the rosary. He was raised a Baptist in the south, which should give you an idea of what he thinks about Catholics. But I digress...), and in fact, he really likes the current Pope, especially given his latest comments about civil unions....

So this is what people in the world heard, and this is their take away. All the damage control is for the sake of the scandalized faithful, who now will look like they are not even part of the Church if they hold to doctrine.

This is very evil. This is why the Pope has lost my confidence.

God bless.

Excerpting the open letter to Donald Trump penned by Archbishop Vigano a few days ago:

"Around you are gathered with faith and courage those who consider you the final garrison against the world dictatorship. The alternative is to vote for a person who is manipulated by the deep state, gravely compromised by scandals and corruption, who will do to the United States what Jorge Mario Bergoglio is doing to the Church..."

In many of his letters, Vigano uses the terms, "Children of the Light" and "Children of Darkness". If we take the trouble to look, it is not difficult to discern what side some of our leaders are on. In describing Pope Bergoglio, Vigano writes: "As is now clear, the one who occupies the Chair of Peter has betrayed his role from the very beginning in order to defend and promote the globalist ideology, supporting the agenda of the deep church, who chose him from its ranks."

Jesus taught us to discern (don't say "judge"!) the wolves from the shepherds, the prophets from the false prophets with these words: "By their fruits you shall know them." We can look at various pontificates and see their "fruits", good or bad. Of recent memory:

John XXIII: Vatican II (ongoing rupture and confusion 60 years later)
Disobedience to Mary in not releasing the 3rd Secret of Fatima
(more wars, the spread of Russia's errors, no conversion of Russia)

Paul VI: Novus Ordo Mass & its declining culture in the Church, loss of
vocations, closing of Catholic schools, HUMANAE VITAE (kudos)

John Paul I: Willingness/intent to clean up Vatican bank (which got him killed)

John Paul II: Restoration of Catholic credibility
Incredible PR machine for the faith
Neglect of Church governance
Appointment of many bad bishops, strengthening the grip of the
Lavender Mafia
Appointment of many good bishops, elevating Joseph Ratzinger to lead
the CDF
Breaking the Iron Curtain

Benedict XVI Many (widely ignored) attempts to re-affirm and clarify Catholic
teaching
Failed attempt to clean up the Vatican Bank
Summorum Pontificum

Francis Imposing "synodality" upon the Church, compromising its central
authority
Issuing highly questionable encyclicals
Refusal to address Dubia
Confusing remarks made to public regularly, increasingly with no
clarification
Clarity replaced with confusion
Public buffoonery

It's all right there in front of us. We can open our eyes and see it or we can keep lying to ourselves.

Our problem is to follow Church teaching in a humane and Christ-like manner. The Pope’s problem is that it is plausible he doesn’t believe it.

Followed by

The only thing in front of your eyes is your delusion.

Critics of Pope Francis claimed initially that Pope Francis had, in imprudent fashion, "shot off his mouth"..."spoken off the cuff"...to Evgeny Afineevsky, who directed Francesco.

That claim was shattered in short order.

Pope Francis' measured, orthodox remarks in question had been lifted, then edited in misleading fashion, from a 2019 A.D. Pope Francis interview conducted by a Mexican journalist.

Have his critics apologized for having attributed falsely to Pope Francis the supposed careless, off-the-cuff remarks in question?

=======================================================================================

Now, to the article that Father McDonald has posted:

Father Raymond J. de Souza noted that in regard to the "controversy" linked to Pope Francis' 2019 A.D. orthodox, thoughtful remarks in question:

-- Pope Francis was "just going about his business."

-- Pope Francis was "sucked into the imbroglio even though the principal decisions were not his."

-- Although Pope Francis' orthodox comments were misrepresented, false reports about Pope Francis' orthodox, thoughtful comments caused "criticism to fly toward Pope Francis."

-- Father de Souza declared that Evgeny Afineevsky edited "five separate elements of that interview (from 2019 A.D.) to create a false impression, namely that the Holy Father was open to formal recognition of same-sex unions, perhaps even including the right to adopt children."

"Afineevsky left out what Pope Francis had said about the “incongruity” of same-sex unions with marriage."

-- Father de Souza declared that the controversy "is not the Holy Father’s fault."

Or perhaps MT, google the "Tango Mass" attended and encouraged by then Archbishop Bergoglio, who sat as this sacrilige was being played out in front of him on the altar.
Yes, find that video, and if it does not speak to you about who this man is then you are more brainwashed than any of us here could have imagined.

I thank Father McDonald for have posted Father Raymond J. de Souza's excellent commentary in regard to the facts that have pertained to the misrepresentation of Pope Francis.

As Father de Souza declared, the controversy in question "is not the Holy Father’s fault."

The Vicar of Christ's critics are not keen to admit that Pope Francis' orthodox, measured remarks in question were lifted, then misrepresented, from a 2019 A.D. interview with a Mexican journalist.

But then, it is a given that Pope Francis haters won't acknowledge their rush-to-judgment attack against Pope Francis.

Rather than support the Vicar of Christ, Pope Francis' critics are keen always to throw in with every preposterous report that accuses the Pope of overthrowing Church teaching.

It is also a given that left-wing Catholic twitter/blogosphere folks would misrepresent Pope Francis so as to "prove" that His Holiness had overthrown Church teaching in regard to homosexuality.

It is also a given that the secular news media is keen to mispresent Pope Francis.

But what may be the most unfortunate aspect to the story in question is that has become a given that a certain group of Churchmen...not laymen... but Churchmen...a handful of bishops, as well as a Cardinal, can be counted upon to rush to judgment against Pope Francis.

It is bad enough that Pope Francis-hating laymen can be counted upon to believe any preposterous report that claims that Pope Francis said "X"...that Pope Francis has stood against faith and morals.

But it is awful that a handful of reactionary Churchmen have emerged to rush to judgment against Pope Francis.

However, as the current "controversy" has demonstrated, one bishop after another is keen to stand with Pope Francis...to refuse to rush to judgment...to interpret his declarations in orthodox fashion, as he is orthodox.

The folks who rushed to judgment against Pope Francis, in regard to the "controversy" at hand, have been made, by their doing, to look preposterous.

Deo gratias for Father de Souza, who noted that the current flap "is not the Holy Father’s fault."

Pax.

To Quote our delusional friend Mark Thomas:

But what may be the most unfortunate aspect to the story in question is that has become a given that a certain group of Churchmen...not laymen... but Churchmen...a handful of bishops, as well as a Cardinal, can be counted upon to rush to judgment against Pope Francis.

Now Mark Thomas, please pay close attention to the discerning words of Tom Marcus who has the gift of critical thinking:

"Jesus taught us to discern (don't say "judge"!) the wolves from the shepherds, the prophets from the false prophets with these words: "By their fruits you shall know them." We can look at various pontificates and see their "fruits", good or bad."

Please note the "GOOD OR BAD" because all of the Pontificates have a mixture of the 2. Thats the human condition. According to your Francis worshipping self, Pope Francis has never made a mis step, cannot be blamed for anything.....its always someone elses "Mis Quote or Mis understanding...he is always the VICTIM. THAT is utter NONSENSE, and those of us who are able to think critically and discern right from wrong...good and bad....including the Master Himself would take issue with the victimhood thing you got going on.

Please grow up......and please try to learn something from the more mature posters on this blog.......

While I make no claims that my list was comprehensive, there were two important items I neglected to mention:

Pope John Paul II
Unwittingly encouraged Syncretism & Indifferentism by his Assisi events with pagan religions.

Francis
Actively practiced Syncretism, Scandalized faithful and triggered enormous chastisements upon humanity with Pachamama debacle at Amazonian Synod.

Tom Marcus,

What “enormous chastisements” are you referring to?

COVID-19?
Terrorism?
Wild fires?
BLM and Antifa rioting, looting and arson?

All of the above?

I am NOT being critical of what you wrote.
I am NOT being sarcastic about what you wrote.

Actually, what you wrote has made me think........if you are right, GOD HELP US ALL with what may occur in the world next year or the year after, 2021 and 2022 ?!!!!

Tom Marcus would not be the first one to bring that to the forefront. I have been hearing a tremendous amount about God's chastisement with COVID-19....and since I am not God, a prophet, or even a theologian or someone with extraordinary discernment skills.......all I can do, like you, is think about it.....pray about it......and wait to see what else comes about.

And the most important thing? Be ready. Go to confession.....continue on with mass and the sacraments and be sure your own soul is rooted in God. Then all will be well no matter what happens.
