CNN IS OWNED BY TIME WARNER WHICH OWNS A CABLEVISION OUTLET WHICH SELLS PAY PER VIEW HARDCORE PORNOGRAPY MAKING BILLIONS OFF IT AND ON VIDEOS THAT OBJECTFY MEN AND WOMAN AND GLORIFIES SEXUAL ABUSE OF MEN AND WOMEN!
CNN's Jake Tapper is interviewing the victim of Senator Al Franken and trying to engineer social change as it concerns sexual harassment and abuse. Sanctimoniousness reigns on that show!
Yet not a word about his company's profiting on selling pornograhy that victimizes those videoed, promotes hypersexuality and the corruption of sexuality and glorifies the objectification of men and women. It corrupts minors and is a form of sexual abuse of children who access this smut.
Many of the porn actors are a part of sex slavery industry too.
THE SELF RIGHTEOUS NEWS MEDIA OWNED BY THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY IS THE PROBLEM, NOT THE SOLUTION!

While I genuinely thank you for pointing out that Time Warner and Comcast profit from pornography, I feel compelled to also point out that the sins of part of the company do not preclude newscasters of those companies from pointing our wrong doings.
IF the whole company had to be perfect before pointing out sexual harrassment acts, whether they be recent or long ago, then no one could speak up! After all...who is perfect?
If one has to be all straightened up oneself before speaking up then no one has the right to speak up. Then evil wins.
I agree that having the news industry now as actually part of the entertainment industry is by and large coloring our news..and in not a helpful way.
Recently I read an article by Public Discourse that was published recently in response to all these allegations of sexual harassment by prominent persons.
I learned that pornography changes one's perceptions of cues. One can think there are sexual cues when there are none. The neurological rewiring and misfiring that occurs is astounding.
Perhaps now that Hugh Hefner is dead, there roo min the atmosphere for a new air to circulate?
I don't disagree with some of the reporting of CNN and others on the various sexual scandals, but I do think that it is hypocritical of CNN and MSNBC and NBC News not to put a spotlight on the media moguls in their own companies who profit big time off of pornography, which is an epidemic addiction for many good people today and yes it changes one's perspective on sex. But more importantly on the young men and women who can access it and think this kind of thing is perfectly normal or not have any worry or empathy for actors who make a living doing the most degrading sorts of things.
All this points to "Hollywood" in the pejorative sense and their role in degrading the sexual morals of the world, where Al Franken actually thought what he was doing to a sleeping and wide awake woman was perfectly normal and funny.
