REQUIEM FOR CARDINALS

Msgr. Guido Marini is still as the pope's side. I think too much was made of his meeting with the pope last week. There are many liturgical events that the Master of Ceremonies must consult with the pope. And as I recall, shortly after Pope Francis was elected, His Holiness renewed Msgr. Marini's term as MC for another six years. Six years aren't up yet.

This is this morning's Requiem for cardinals deceased this year to include two who  asked His Holiness for some clarification only to be ignored.
