THE LEO EFFECT ON OUR YOUNG CATHOLICS

PLEASE NOTE HOW THE POPE’S COPE IS DRAPED OVER THE KNEELER! THIS HAS NOT BEEN SEEN SINCE BENEDICT XVI’S PONTIFICATE!

Pope Leo is with about 1 million young people. It is in progress as I write this. Stunningly beautiful! Pope Leo in mozzetta and papal stole, nothing casual about this encounter.

The questions asked by young people of the pope are answered by the pope with a written text, no off-the-cuff remarks. No telling young people to make a mess. He calls them to Christ who loves them and offers the grace of conversion of life.

MORE TO COME AS IT IS POSTED BY THE VATICAN!

Pope Leo is not an empty cassock enamored with leftist politics like the last Pope

I had noted the following a few weeks ago: As our future Pope, then-Cardinal Prevost had explained last year, "Hagan lío!" pertains to Jesus Christ.

Then-Cardinal Prevost declared that in line with Jesus Christ's words/actions in the boat with the Apostles, Pope Francis' desired to shake us out of complacency to cultivate greater trust in God.

Then-Cardinal Prevost explained that the Church does not remain stagnant...that conducting Herself in a certain manner for centuries does not mean that She must continue that way. As our future Pope Leo XIV had noted:

"Hagan lío" called young Catholics, as well each Catholic, to trust completely in the Holy Ghost. In turn, the Holy Ghost will guide us to new, exciting, and orthodox ways to present the Faith.

Pope Francis (requiescat in pace) in regard to his beautiful declaration in question:

"At the beginning of my Pontificate, at the World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro, I urged you to make your voices heard! Hagan lio! Make a mess!

"Today, once again, I ask you: make your voices heard! Proclaim, not so much in words but by your life and your heart, the truth that Christ is alive!

"And in this way, help the whole Church to get up and set out ever anew to bring his message to the entire world."

As then-Cardinal Prevost had explained last year, in line with the above, Pope Francis' "hagan lío" is a wonderful exhortation to young Catholics to counter complacency within the Church...to stir hearts and minds in new and exciting ways that will spur more and more people to embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thanks for making clear he wasn’t pope then! You’re making progress.

"Hagan lío!" is an exhortation to promote evangelization. 100 percent Church teaching.

But we can leave then-Cardinal Prevost out of the conversation if you wish. Not a problem. Again, as Pope Francis (requiescat in pace) declared:

"At the beginning of my Pontificate, at the World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro, I urged you to make your voices heard! Hagan lio! Make a mess!

"Today, once again, I ask you: make your voices heard! Proclaim, not so much in words but by your life and your heart, the truth that Christ is alive!

"And in this way, help the whole Church to get up and set out ever anew to bring his message to the entire world."

Back to Pope Leo XIV.

He is 100 percent on board with the above. What Catholic is not on board with Pope Francis'...the Church's call...to "Hagan lio!" — to proclaim Jesus Christ to the world.

Anyway, let us cease to misrepresent the meaning of "Hagan lio!" Beginning with Pope Francis' above declaration, we have the authentic meaning of "Hagan lio!"

Unfortunately, as then-Cardinal Prevost had declared last year, there are folks who have long trafficked in having misrepresented Pope Francis/"Hagan lio!"

LOL, what do you expect a subordinate who doesn't want to get nuked by the mean old man in charge to say?

We will make holy progress when we strive to present Pope Francis' (requiescat in pace) teachings/declarations in authentic fashion.

Pope Francis had disseminated the meaning of "Hagan lio!" Then-Cardinal Prevost last year had reiterated the authentic meaning of "Hagan lio!"

Nevertheless, there are folks who continue to misrepresent, knowingly, or unknowingly, the authentic meaning of "Hagan lio!" That applies as well to "who am I to judge...breed like rabbits"...

Countless examples exist of Pope Francis having been misrepresented.

Pope Leo XIV, to young people, during today's Jubilee Vigil:

"How much the world needs missionaries of the Gospel who are witnesses of justice and peace! How much the future needs men and women who are witnesses of hope!

"Dear young people, this is the task that the Risen Lord entrusts to each one of us!"

The above, as Pope Francis (requiescat in pace) had made clear, represents the meaning of "Hagan lío!" — proclaim the Gospel!

MT, don’t be ridiculous. To make a mess is to lie, cheat, steal, fornicate and live by disordered affections! Missionaries of the Gospel help to clean up messes not make them! Loving the truth of Christ makes no mess!
