I hope his giving a home to a child molester for 2yrs, 9yrs after the molester was removed from ministry, and a home near a Catholic school and daycare, and no notification to either school, was something forced upon him by superiors. As for what manner of pope he makes, only time will tell, and am not especially hopefulof a Chicago product, but I pray Pope Leo becomes known as one of the best and most just popes of the last century. He appears papal, now I pray he stands and delivers.
Leo's biography and early home life is re-assuring. Some recent appointments of bishops in the US appear more solid than when he first took over the Dicastery. I love that he did not adopt the slob look treasured by the Left
Bob, that specter will continue to haunt all senior prelates for years. I'm not excusing it, but JPII mishandled, almost innocently I might add. You can research this yourself.

I see another fear of mine true, he did indeed stand accused of fumbling Peruvian molestation charges as well...I really am suprised he was elected.
