St. Joseph Parish, Avon Lake, Ohio isn’t bad, but it could use a more traditional looking sanctuary with an added altar railing.
The main problem is the enclosed shopping mall look at it regards plants, flowers and other greenery. They’ve borrowed the look of an enclosed mall’s main runway. And most of these never are changed out, they remain for everrrr. And Palm trees in Ohio. What a hoot. But that is what malls did. I went to a mall in Halifax, Nova Scotia and they had palms too. It was/is to laugh.

"And Palm trees in Ohio. What a hoot." Oh? Parts of Ohio are in USDA Zone 7a and 7b. Guess what? Palm trees can grow in Zone 7a and 7b.
What about Halifax, NS?
There are some palm trees in Ohio, but not sure what type. You don’t see many palm groves. This church in the photos looks like the one where my wife and I were married. It was a compromise parish between our families and we had attended during college so knew the super liberal priest who was a nice fellow. They had a piano and that scandalized my uncle. I don’t recall palm trees, but the font looked like a jacuzzi to me.
