Almighty
and eternal God, Your bounteous kindness exceeds the merits and

EPISTLE I Cor. 15:1-10
Brethren:
Now I make known unto you brethren, the gospel which I preached unto
you, which also ye received, wherein also ye stand, by which also ye are
saved, if ye hold fast the word which I preached unto you, except ye
believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I
received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day
according to the scriptures; and that he appeared to Cephas; then to the
twelve; then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of
whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep; then
he appeared to James; then to all the apostles; and last of all, as to
the child untimely born, he appeared to me also. For I am the least of
the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I
persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am:
and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not found vain.

GOSPEL Mark 7:31-37
At
that time, Jesus went out from the borders of Tyre, and came through
Sidon unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the borders of
Decapolis. And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an
impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to lay his hand upon him.
And he took him aside from the multitude privately, and put his
fingers into his ears, and he spat, and touched his tongue; and looking
up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, "Ephphatha," that is, "Be opened."
And his ears were opened, and the bond of his tongue was loosed, and
he spake plain. And he charged them that they should tell no man: but
the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published
it. And they were beyond measure astonished, saying, "He hath done all
things well; he maketh even the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak."

The video was impressive - the organ had pride of place and the Latin motet Christus Vivat, Christus Regnat, Christus Imperat was beautiful. England obviously had not gone bonkers liturgically
