YOUTH AT THE SYNOD FIND POST-VATICAN II LITURGY UNINSPIRING AND UNBEAUTIFUL AND UNTRANSCENDENT! WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS HOLY DO THESE YOUTH WANT?

This was reported from the youth synod:

the urge to live a liturgy more and more attractive not (only) in the outward sense, but with an (actual) participation full of sign language (non-verbal) and the richness of the content...

I suspect the youth would prefer this to what they have been given:

Of course many youths would, but braindead clerics with the 1970s mentality would never even consider admitting that they are WRONG, WRONG, and WRONG (clericalism on steriods)

Beautiful masthead, Father!

The first giant gust of wind from the hurricane just hit my house about 10 minutes ago, ON THE NORTH SIDE! Very strange!

Praying that all are safe, especially the homeless and those in trailers.

Carol:

Since a Hurricane's winds rotate around the eye in a counter-clockwise direction,
if you are getting sustained winds from the north it tells you that the eye is to
the east of, or on an eastward path to your location. The key, of course, is constant sustained winds from that direction. At this point, it is not that bad where I am at in Macon, at least not yet.

George,

The weird thing was that the eye was to the south south-west at the time. About 20 minutes later, we had sustained winds from the east, which is what I expected. I live in Houston County, so Michael came in as a cat 1 hurricane, and left as a tropical storm. My pecan trees lost a few branches, but not bad. Our neighborhood had one tree come down and block one of the roads at the entrance, but otherwise, all is good here. Thanks be to God!
