MORE ON SAINT JOSEPH CHURCH'S SOON TO BE NEW PASTOR!

Father Scott Winchel is currently pastor of a very small parish about an hour south of Macon on Interstate 75. It is Saint Theresa of the Little Flower in Cordele, Ga. Fr. Winchel, in an ontological change at the stroke of midnight on June 22, 2016 becomes St. Joseph Church in Macon's new pastor!

It is a cute little church to say the least. Here is an exterior and interior photo of it! Nice, no?

And here is Fr. Winchel explaining via YouTube in his lovely Little Flower of a church, the Solemnity of the Presentation of the Lord, or Candlemas, aka, Ground Hog Day:

Very enlightening. and a very slow and particulate speaker.

Welcome to St. Joseph's

He does not appear to be a hippie priest.

Dialogue, that's because he's not over 70,the cut-off age for most left-wing loon hippies!

Father Winchel was our Parochial Vicar at St. Annes in Columbus. He's good to go.
At one Holy Mass, as he was giving a homily in which he mentioned the evil of abortion some parishioners left, apparently they did not like his message. He paused, told the congregation (paraphrased) "It's okay, let them go" and continued with his homily.
