For those who don't understand Spanish, there are subtitles for you to read. One hopes that the English translation is a literal dynamic and not a dynamic equivalency! We know how horribly wrong that can be.
Two interesting points. The Liturgy of the Church even prior to Vatican II had different expressions depending on the country or the culture. You'll see one such expression in the video. Can you pick it out?
Secondly, this happened only 80 years ago in Catholic Spain. With such antipathy toward the Church from the dictatorship of political, godless secularism, could it happen again in Western Europe; or let's say the the United States? I report the movie, you decide if the circumstances are right again for such a thing.

Not if we have enough guns and ammo. Join the NRA and vote Republican.
And it was Franco who was the brute? Right.
What a powerful video. The Spanish Civil War was a disaster and the Catholic Church suffered the most during it and in its aftermath throughout the 20th century. Thanks for sharing the video, I hadn't seen it.
