Hopefully this post won't disappear like my last one on clairvoyancy! I didn't see that coming!
But the clarifying document on the EF Mass is out. Not too much that is earth shaking, but it is here to stay! God bless Pope Benedict XVI!

The CDF has called for pastors to show religious zeal and a spirit of generous welcome to those who long for tradition in the Church, specifically this form of the Mass. It must be observed that you have shown this zeal and generous welcome in your parish, and great pastoral prudence by educating your flock to prepare them for the new translations as well as renewing their experience of timeless Catholic tradition.
I pray that more pastors will observe and follow your example.
Maybe not earth-shaking where the "generous welcome" was already there, but PLENTY earth-shaking where there has been resistance, avoidance and down right obstruction of Summorum Pontificum! Thank you Holy Father for caring for your flock trapped in liturgical wastelands!
