Over 300 attend our EF High Mass on Easter Sunday, everyone loved it! Entrance Procession and Vidi Aquam The chanting of the Gospel in English and versus populum The elevation of the Hostiam (Victim) Ecce Agnus Dei!

Yes, in the EF Mass, the Rite of Sprinkling is seen as a "prelude" to Mass and not a part of it. After the Sprinkling and final prayers, the priest changes into the Chasuble and begins then the Prayers at the Foot of the Altar. In the OF Mass, the Rite of Sprinkling has been reformed to include the actual blessing of the Holy Water (already blessed water is used in the EF) which is accomplished within Mass replacing the Penitential Rite which is a remnant of the Prayers at the Foot of the Altar.
