EXOTIC VISITOR PHOTOGRAPHS THE SPLENDOR OF OUR "JEWEL OF THE SOUTH" SAINT JOSEPH CHURCH , MACON, GEORGIA!

Recently, we had a visitor Alexis Xenakis to our Sunday evening Mass who brought his camera with him. He stayed afterward and took some stunning pictures of our "Jewel of the South" and posted them on his blog. You can paste it to your browser and enjoy. Don't miss the video that is at the top of the blog, just click and watch and hear Ms. Nelda Chapman our music director and organist play our grand pipe organ too.

"Ms. Nelda Chapman" Is it proper to refer to a Catholic lady as "Ms."? For Catholics, both the married state (Mrs.) and the unmarried state (Miss) are holy. What on earth does Ms. stand for? It has a period; but for what, pray tell, is it an abbreviation?

Gorgeous church! Mrs./Miss Chapman does y'all proud.

Anonymous, although you can be forgiven for the assumption, our beloved Ms. Nelda Chapman is not, if memory serves, a Catholic at all.

Father, I do love the story the Photographer wrote on his Blog. I feel the same way in our Church.
