IN REALITY, IT ISN’T TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME BUT DEMOCRACY DERANGEMENT SYNDROME WHICH LEADS TO THOSE WHO SUFFER FROM IT TO BECOME UNHINGED BY DEMOCRACY!
Say what you will about the amorality or immorality of President Trump, he is trying within the first week of his renewed presidency to fulfill his campaign promises which got him elected in addition to his entertaining personality, maybe the cult of the personality that Americans love from our celebrity culture and Hollywood elites promote for themselves.
Those who did not vote for Trump are unhinged by what he is doing which is what he promised to do, good, bad, ugly or indifferent.
He won the majority of voting Americans and by a goodly number. But the electoral college was a landslide victory for him and that is what counts in our democracy.
We know that part of the strategy of the Democrats this election season, based upon Trump Derangement Syndrome was to shame and marginalize those who would vote for him. In 2016 there was some of that but on steroids in 2024! In fact, because of this shaming of Trump voters in 2016, most did not come out of the closet to say they voted for him.
But the Democrat strategy in 2024 backfired because it was a steroids. President Biden, Vice President Harris and others, especially the celebrity cult culture called those who would vote for President Trump garbage, Fascists Nazis, and even worse.
Coupled with the two who ran for president, President Biden suffering from severe progressive dementia and VP Harris suffering from a lack of skills or merit to be the president, and their shaming language of the electorate, we understand now why they lost in a landslide electoral college victory for the President.
But today, the real derangement and becoming unhinged is Democracy Derangement Syndrome. The voters spoke and in our system the voters who are in the majority, or at least, the electoral college’s majority, wins and the newly elected is given a mandate to follow through on his/her promises.
President Trump also suffered fron Democracy Derangement Syndrome in 2020 as did some of his most ardent supporters.
This derangement syndrome and the unhinging that then occurs is an equal opportunity pathology!
