This is not what Duchess of Sussex believes, but what she found others believing about her and, one might suppose, other women who dare to live the lives they choose to live.
We did spend a long time as a Church discounting what most women said, wrote, or thought...

If you used the Roman Canon you would know that is a Big Lie, just like abortion is “healthcare.” I am always shocked that “progressive” priests fail to use the Roman Canon which recites the names of great women saints. Catherine of Sienna was a Doctor of the Church, which again cuts out the legs from under your statement. Do you think, at all?
Then why were women mentioned in the Roman Canon? Why was Catherine of Siena named a Doctor of the Church? Those facts seem to destroy your argument and all of that happened centuries ago
I see Fr K or his minions cannot come up with an argument how the Catholic Church was disrespectful of women when female saints were named in the Roman Canon over a thousand years ago or that women were designated Doctors of the Church centuries before the disaster known as Vatican II. I did not even bring up the veneration of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Very Mark Thomas like
