I wish the cathedra did not face the nave in a confrontational fashion. Better to be more angled toward the altar.

The reredos and freestanding altar appear as one unit and no additional altar placed higher attached to the Reredos. Tabernacle central again!

Without question, it is beautiful. The cream/red of the marble is both rich and warm. The baptismal is lovely as well featuring a shell motif. The reredos spotlights our ongoing abilities regarding liturgical arts. The ambo and stations complement all perfectly. Congratulations to that diocese on their recovery from the arson attack!
A few things that I might have done differently - minor style preference:
Move the seating away from the reredos to eliminate the bleacher look.
Have a contrasting color on the back wall to distinguish the sanctuary from the nave. There is something behind the reredos presumably for that purpose. Difficult to tell from this photo set.
Add gradines to the reredos for candles/flowers.
Have the altar and tabernacle pedestal on a predella.
The church was hit by arson about 3 years ago.

I don't understand the location of the presider's chair or any of the chairs for that matter. Really should be down and more facing the altar and not the congregation. This one misses the mark. Close but no cigar.
I think the sanctuary space is quite small. The transcept extends immediately to the left and right of the altar platform. The chair placement may be the best possible, given the available space.
The bigger problem with cathedrals is where to place the priest-celebrant’s chair as he can’t use the cathedra That is a case here. That chair is behind the ambo and not a good place to begin and end the Mass. But it does appear to me that angling the cathedra would have been possible here, but the priest’s chair’s placement would still be a problem.
