OUR ANNUAL SOLEMN CELEBRATION OF OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY WITH EXPOSTION AND BENEDICTION OF THE MOST BLESSED SACAMENT

I began this annual tradition at St. Joseph Church in Macon around 2006 or so and have continued it here at St. Anne in Richmond Hill. It is quite beautiful and uplifting.

We also include our candidates for First Penance/Holy Communion and Confirmation.

Our choir sang a lovely choir setting of "O Salutaris" which was quite beautiful.

The Arcadelt "Ave Maria" was lovely, one of my wife's favorites. You are fortunate to have such wonderful singers.

Father McDonald,

This is a must see for you. Bee's parish, St. John Cantius, had a fundraiser which broke all previous records. The photos show cheerful "marginalized" Catholics, the ones PF wants to get rid of. Cheers!

Sophia Here: Well Father, you and TJM just made my evening! I'm guaranteed to have sweet dreams! I shall be forwarding your beautiful Solemn Celebration of this Lovely Feast Day to some friends who will fully appreciate it.
TJM, during the time we were not able to attend Mass (Covid restrictions) I took the opportunity to check out Bee's Parish which she had mentioned on this blog. I was so captivated by how reverently they celebrated the Traditional Latin Mass and in fact all their Masses, that I binge watched their livestreams for most of each Sunday! It was the first time I ever saw a Novus Ordo Mass celebrated in Latin-not merely Ad Orientem! What a wonderful update this is! I am not surprised to hear that their parishes are growing!
Thanks again!

Sophia,

I am pleased you found their website. I used to attend St. John Cantius frequently driving in from the suburbs (a liturgical wasteland). Unfortunately, I now live most on the time in Indiana, so it is rare that I make it there. I am blessed here because my 32 year old pastor was trained at St. John Cantius to celebrate the EF which we have once a week. Our music is good but not on the same level of St. John Cantius
