A NICER VERSION OF THE TRIBUTE TO MONSIGNOR JOHN CUDDY ON THE 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIS ORDINATION

Monsignor Cuddy is now 85 years old, lives in assisted living nearby and celebrated his 60th anniversary of ordination in May. He was pastor here from 1974 until 2004. Mr. Lovel Miguel created this wonderful slide tribute:

For some reason my computer screen is just displaying a completely black screen again with Southern Orders visuals like this. The problem started a couple of days ago. Is anyone else having the same problem? I had the problem months ago and then it stopped.

Anon 2 - Not here. The gremlins appear to prefer you...

Sounds like you may be running Windows NO.

Anon 2, Perhaps you can negotiate with your screen and get it to see reason...

Thanks for the suggestions.

That's funny Gene, but I tried negotiation. It didn't work. Nor did other forms of dialogue. =) Should I try violence now? Or should I still pursue reason as rcg suggests?

Well, Anon 2, you are probably using Windows...Windows, being more straight line stubborn, tends to be less negotiable. I am using an Apple machine which, being more right hemispheric, is sometimes susceptible to subtle manipulation or off-the-wall reasoning. Violence, a sometimes necessary alternative, when used against computers generally ends up costing you money, and then the computer always has the last laugh because the new one will refuse to work in a show of solidarity with the one you just abused. Just find a nerdy looking teen ager to look at your computer. He can probably fix it...offer to pay him in pizza or maybe a Starbucks card.

Eureka! I have just found the solution – watch it on my wife’s Mac. Now why didn't I think of that before?

It is indeed a lovely tribute to a wonderful priest. Thank you for posting it, Father McDonald.

(I don't think this comment made it through the first time this evening, so I am sending it again:)
