PRAYERS PLEASE!

I don't normally use my blog seeking prayers, but one of our parishioners who is in the third grade at our school has just been diagnosed with a very aggressive bone cancer. Doctors have diagnosed her with Osteosarcoma. It is currently in her knee. Her parents are making immediate plans to bring her either to Emory in Atlanta or St. Jude in Memphis. It is very serious.

Done. I will offer a novena to St. Peregrine on her behalf. It will start today.

You got it, Father.

By all means ask us for prayers on your blog.

Hail Mary...

In other news, the sedia gestatoria may return. You may want to do a post on it.

Done!
When you publicly ask for prayers we are given good example, and also shown that is is ok to do so.
Plus, it shows that the pastor truly cares about the everyday trials of his flock...not just liturgical matters.
You are a good man...and a good priest.
We here are all fortunate to know you.

Thanks SL, the Liturgy is the source and summit of our faith that must lead us to charity--love in the world and concern for all who struggle.
