PRAYERS PLEASE!
I don't normally use my blog seeking prayers, but one of our parishioners who is in the third grade at our school has just been diagnosed with a very aggressive bone cancer. Doctors have diagnosed her with Osteosarcoma. It is currently in her knee. Her parents are making immediate plans to bring her either to Emory in Atlanta or St. Jude in Memphis. It is very serious.

When you publicly ask for prayers we are given good example, and also shown that is is ok to do so.
Plus, it shows that the pastor truly cares about the everyday trials of his flock...not just liturgical matters.
You are a good man...and a good priest.

I have a lot of experience with this...unfortunately.
I will pray for the child, parents and doctors. they will all need help.
