ANOTHER BLOGGER CONCELEBRATED MASS WITH ME AT OUR 9:30 am SOLEMN SUNG MASS TODAY (SUNDAY)

Father Martin Fox has his own blog "BONFIRES OF THE VANITIES" and was in town as he travels to Tampa today. It was nice having another blogging priest con-celebrate. He is a priest of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Here is a vocation video he made. He will become the Director of On-going Formation for the clergy of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and he has a special place in his heart for promoting vocations to the priesthood. I saw that in action this morning!

Woot! Fr. Fox. How did you hear of each other? I suppose he is going to be working with Fr. Schnippel? Will he stay in Piqua?

Thanks Father! It was great meeting you and your parishioners, and offering the Mass in your splendid church.

To be fair, I didn't make the video, the Vocations office here did. My friend the vocations director would give me grief if he thought I was taking credit!

Two of my favorite bloggers concelebrating mass. Great. I know Fr. Fox's parishioners will miss him.

I will be relocating to Cincinnati in July. I will find out this week what parish will be home for me there.

As to how I heard of Father McDonald: I read about him on Father Zuhlsdorf's site and I've stopped by here to read about his progress.

When I was planning my trip, and trying to figure out where to observe the Lord's Day, I discovered Father was in Macon, a detail I'd not noticed previously.

To be completely candid: when I travel, one of my goals is to participate in the most edifying celebrations of the Sacrifice I can. I saw what Father was doing and was encouraged; and after concelebrating the Mass, I was edified.

Fr Fox, please carry this to you in Cincinnati. I am in the Dayton Deanery. I think this sort of thing would be welcome by (the) many here.
