ALL VERY GOOD REASONS TO BE CATHOLIC AND GLORY IN OUR CATHOLICISM

From "The Hermeneutic of Continuity Blog" This video is by by Katerina Marie Cabello whose blog is Evangelical Catholicism. The video slideshow gives six reasons for being Catholic: 1) the Eucharist, 2) the Church, 3) the Sacraments, 4) Mary, 5) Marriage (actual and spiritual), and 6) Communion of Saints. The song for the video is "Jesus Christ You are my Life," the theme song from the 2005 World Youth Day.

Tell me about it...I just got back from an Episcopalian funeral service. I wanted to knock people down hurrying back to St. Joseph's!

Does it bother anyone else to see dates written with "AD" or "A.D" placed AFTER the year number instead of BEFORE the year number?

A.D. is an abbreviation for the Latin term "Anno Domini" which is translated as "In the year of our Lord." Thus, A.D. should logically be placed BEFORE the year number as you would say "In the year of our Lord 2010" not "2010 in the year of our Lord."

...not enough to comment on it, however, if you place a comma after2010, as in, "2010, in the year of our Lord," it may ease your anxiety a bit.
