I'VE GOT THAT JOY, JOY, JOY, JOY, DOWN IN MY HEART, DOWN IN MY HEART, DOWN MY HEART, I'VE GOT THAT....

I am back in the Holy Land of my parish of St. Joseph Church in Macon, GA! I departed for my sabbatical September 1st and I returned here December 3rd.

Not that I am prejudice or anything, but I think my church rivals anything in Italy, Europe and the Holy Land. What do you think?

Welcome back, Father!

Yes, we have a beautiful church, and beautiful liturgies and wonderful priests.

We are truly blessed!

All is right in Macon again! So glad to have you back safe and sound. I actually dreamed that you came back just to tell us you were leaving the priesthood! What a nightmare!

Fr. McDonald, were you to be something else, what would it be? I imagine myself to have done something with trains.

I always wanted to be a bus driver and with all the tour buses I was on in Rome and the Holy Land, I was impressed with their skills and think I could have done that. They can turn on a dime!

But can they turn on a Euro?
